A million suns to boil away
Carving realms of night and day
Bound by forces never seen
Pieces of a vast machine

Brilliant flames and glowing sparks
Tracing patterns, perfect arcs
Set against the darkness’ maw
Beauty born of nature’s law

Delicate web, to hold them so
Suspended in their small halos
We know the fury of the stars
